Wimbledon!

Hello Everyone!

So I know I have not updated my blog in a LONG time but I really have not had much to talk about. - but now Wimbledon has arrived! so to start off I would like to show the Dress that Caroline Wozniacki is wearing

Like I had mentioned in my Roland Garros Post she would be wearing the same style dress as before but only in white.

Now to the most controversial outfit of the event is Venus Williams Romper Which I actually like, it is from her personal line Eleven by Venus Williams. Many are not liking it but other then the zipper that goes down to her crotch it is nice to see something new in tennis fashion.

Now onto Maria Sharapova, her out was actually disappointing compared to the beautiful yellow dress she wore to Roland-Garros.

Roland-Garros Womens Fashion

Hello Readers,

I know I just posted a blog about Roland Garros but I really love talking about the fashion and since the tournament takes place in Paris, how can I not create a blog post solely focused on the ladies clothes! I will start off with my favorite outfit of the tournament. The honor goes to Maria Sharapova! This beautiful yellow performance dress flows so lovely and is so flattering on her and even better she designed it herself of course with assistance from Nike.

Roland-Garros French Open

Hello Lovely Readers!,

Roland Garros Paris
Today I want to write something I am very passionate about...TENNIS! I love to play tennis, I love to watch Tennis, I love tennis fashion, and the players and the history and out of the Four Grand Slams my favorite is the French Open also known as Roland-Garros! It was one of the first tennis matches I ever watched and truly enjoyed, I still remember watching on NBC Juan Carlos Ferrero vs. Martin Verkerk I even remember the first Wimbledon match I ever watched which was in 2003 with Roger Federer winning his first Grand Slam title! I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to watch from the beginning his journey to number one. In the beginning I was only a fan of the ATP tour, I was never interested in watching the WTA I didn't start paying attention until I watched Venus Williams win at Wimbledon in 2005 and then I really payed attention when Maria Sharapova a young girl my age won her second Grand Slam title at The US Open. As a tennis player I became more interested in watching the WTA to study and learn the techniques of the players, I can't tell you how much of my talent for tennis came from simply watching the games and mimicking them on the tennis courts.Currently my favorite WTA player is Caroline Wozniacki; she became my favorite athlete after she made it to the US Open finals in 2009 and wore the infamous Stella McCartney for Adidas dress that I love and so many dislike..

Reading for the Summer!

Happy May 23rd!,

I have finally chosen my first book to read for this summer! I have Chosen...(drum-roll please!).... Living History By Hillary Rodham Clinton. I hope no one takes any offense to my choice but I really believe that she is a wonderful strong female, that can empower women to be more involved in politics. I can't wait to learn about her life all the way up to when she was in the white house! I will update once I am finished reading with my review and interesting points.

The Little Mermaid

Hello "Happy Last Day on Earth",

Just kidding...it's past 6 PST and I'm still around (not that actually believed it).but anyways....
YAY! So on Friday, I went to Disneyland like I mentioned in my previous post, and I am so lucky! My wonderful friend Shannon who is an employee of Disney was able to get cast preview of the new Little Mermaid attraction at Disney California Adventure (D.C.A.) and the Star Tours attraction! I had such a blast! Star Tours was so much fun and in 3-D the ride hasn't changed but the story line has  I believe that there will be (don't quote me on this) 54 different story lines so most likely every time you get on the ride It will be a new experience! Now I also went on the new Little Mermaid ride at D.C.A. the ride itself is the same structure as Haunted Mansion where you sit in Chairs that can seat up too two people at a time. The Building that houses the ride is absolutely beautiful as is the art work found inside in the walls of the building! But the ride itself is lacking, I think it will be great for kids but the parent's won't be as entertained plus for being a ride about a mermaid in the ocean there is not one ounce of water! and the thing you will find most irritating of all is the story line it is so "choppy" it may make you a little annoyed. but really the Artwork and building are worth a look very beautiful but you could have some more cash on the ride itself Disney...On a positive note! I went on Indiana Jones for the first time! I can't believe that after all the years that I have lived in California I have not ridden on this attraction I am so grateful to my friends that they convinced me to go on the ride it was so fun! Well I'm done for the day and will post again soon.

Thank you,
My Fair Lady
